Leaflet Design – Extreme Walk – Manchester

Job Description
Extreme Walk is a 12 month programme offered by Manchester based charity OMS International. Candidates are placed with a host family in some of the globe’s most extreme environments and experience their day to day lives working with other locals, schools and churches.
With a tagline of ‘Living Life on the Edge’ the promotional flyers we were asked to produce needed to reflect the purpose of the programme.
Using a double sided A5 style flyer we kept the majority of the required informative text to the reverse, with the front used for an impacting image. Aimed primarily at 18-30’s the flyer needed to attract attention in locations such as universities and colleges. To emphasise the extremity of the programme the selected image was grass but viewed from the perspective of an ant. Using the title ‘Discover What You Are Made Of’ added to the impact of the shot. As the programme is about stepping into someone else’s shoes we added the image of a footprint onto the image to again reflect some of the key themes of Extreme Walk. The resultant flyer provides a high impact, clear promotion of Extreme Walk.
