Leaflet Design – Cragside Cottage – Lake District

Job Description
Having designed a logo for this cottage development in the Lake District, Freckle were approached to assist with a promotional flyer for distribution to potential holidaymakers.
In order to obtain maximum impact it was decided that the leaflets would be produced using a less conventional DL shape on a heavyweight card, to reflect the quality of the accommodation. With the location of the cottage being in an area of outstanding natural beauty promoting the locality was essential to the success of the design. Using an image of Ullswater the front of the flyer was used to show how stunning the area around the cottage is. Adding a tagline of ‘Looking for a Change of Scene, Try a Change of Scenery’ appealed to the target audience of potential clients, searching for a relaxing break.
The reverse of the flyer introduced more details about the area and the cottage itself. Colour schemes complemented the logo, alongside clear, but concise elements of text. Remaining predominantly pictorial, to sustain impact, the resultant flyer provides a very informative and eye catching introduction to the cottage and surrounding area.
