Business Stationary – Equine Services – Burnley

Based in the hills above Burnley, East Lancashire, Equine Laundry Services provide a variety of cleaning facilities, primarily for horse apparel. Sister company Equine Therapy Services offer injury and rehabilitation treatment in the same field. Company director Chantelle approached us with the task of developing a brand and associated stationary / promotional materials for both of these new ventures. Following close dialogue it was decided that although they standalone it was important for the brand and promotion of each of these business’ to be linked. With both operating in the same marketplace promotion of one would certainly benefit the other.
With this in mind the logos for each company focused on the same horse icon. For Equine Laundry, the image was developed with a focus on the apparel which would be cleaned. For Equine Therapy, the horse was designed to display key muscle areas and pressure points. In both cases the logos clearly defined the purposes of each business.
To further link the brands we used the same fonts for all text and copy and complementary colour schemes for backgrounds and styling. This was carried into the stationary design with slight variations for each business. A tartan styling was introduced for the laundry business, to further emphasise the nature of their work. For therapy, a more corporate styling for the cards was required and produced.
